Sheffield Parents! Take Part in Research About Dietary Online Programmes

Calling all parents of children aged 4-11 years! The University of Sheffield needs YOU to take part in research about your views about different dietary online programmes or mobile apps.

University of Sheffield PhD student Sundus Mahdi is looking for parents living in Yorkshire and the Humber to participate in the research.

As a thank you, you will receive a £30 gift voucher AND be entered you in a prize draw for a chance to win a Virgin Experience Days gift card worth £150.

Whether you or your family are into paintballing, zorbing, escape rooms or river cruises – there is something for everybody!

What’s involved?

Participating it easy! All you have to do during the research is:
Complete food diaries of everything your child had to eat and drink over 3 days. You will be asked to do this after you first sign up, at 1-month follow-up and again at 3-months
Complete online questionnaires
Use dietary online programmes or mobile apps and provide feedback on your user experience
Tasks will be spaced out over 3 months and will take approximately 20 minutes each to complete.

Who can take part?

Parents must:
Have a child between the ages of 4-11 years old
Live in Yorkshire and the Humber.

If your child has a health condition with medical dietary issues, unfortunately you will not be able to participate in this study. This does not include allergies.
